Durable and healthy non-settling logs
In all our move-in-ready houses, we use only the highest quality non-settling Ollikainen laminated timber. Laminated timber is the best choice for heat, acoustics and air quality.
The process for a move-in-ready house
Earthworks – Before construction starts, site preparation is carried out: tree removal, levelling, drainage, trenching and foundation work. Please note that in most cases these are the responsibility of the customer and are carried out before the foundations of the house are laid.
Planning and permits – Drafts, permit drawings and administrative matters are taken care of. This is also the stage where the main designer and the responsible foreman are selected.
Body – Once the foundations are complete, the log body rises under a protective shelter.
Engineering and interior work – HPAC and electricity installations, surface materials, fittings and appliances are installed.
Handover and move-in – Once the final cleaning and inspections have been completed, the maintenance book is handed over and the house is presented in a move-in-ready condition. Then it's time to move in.
Estimated duration: About 10 months from the start of the foundation work.
What does ready-to-move-in contain?

All design and permit documents are included: building permit, structural, HPAC and electrical plans, energy report and surface material design.
Ollikainen acts as the lead and foreman, applies for the building permit and hands you the completed maintenance book and a tidy home. -
Before the foundation is laid, the customer must take care of the earthworks so that the foundation can be laid within the agreed timeframe and to a high standard. Cast-in-place reinforced concrete foundation and ground-supported base floor, with underfloor heating installed.

Non-settling laminated timber, prefabricated and treated both inside and outside.
Ruukki Classic tin roof, roofing products and rainwater systems are included. Terraces and canopies are built. -
Pihla or Skaala wood-aluminium windows and Abloy locking according to the customer's choice. Partition walls, stairs and cladding ready – waterproofing and tiling in damp areas. All finishes, mouldings and painting are finished.

Puustelli's fixed furniture and a Siemens or AEG appliance package are included in the delivery. Everything is delivered and installed in place.

Geothermal heat with remote control and exchange electricity control. Mechanical ventilation. Full electrical and data equipment according to the customer's wishes, exterior lights and fire alarms installed.

Surface materials are planned together. All floors, walls and ceilings are finished with the agreed materials.
The property is delivered cleaned and ready to use, with maintenance book and warranty documents.
